YZU offers online courses for oversea students learning easily

In response to the spread of new coronavirus, Yuan Ze University offers online courses for students who weren’t able to return to school such as from mainland China or international students according to the principals of school suspension for severe pneumonia with novel Pathogens outbreaks by Ministry of Education and YZU Study at Ease Project for COVID-19 Prevention.

Fang-Mei Tseng, Dean of the Office of Academic Affairs, said that there are three plans on self-learning courses for students from China, Hong Kong and Macao. The plan A is the teacher’s class including the content written on blackboard to be recorded and upload to the portal with named as "Flip Classroom". The Plan B is to upload the computer screen like files of PPT, word or selected web page together with teacher’s audio and video. YZU has software for the recording. In the Plan C, the university will provide students additional materials (such as PPT files, Word files, online learning reference sites, or other textbook files) for homeschool learner. If their learning is behind schedule, YZU will actively arrange after-school tutoring or other measures when they come back school.
