1. Turnitin Update: Login Interface, Course Enrollment Key, and Student Registration Process Change
- Effective immediately, all users (administrators, instructors, and students) should access Turnitin through home.turnitin.com.
- The student account creation and course enrollment processes have been updated.
- To allow students to join an existing course, instructors must enable"Allow students to self-enroll in this course" in the course settings and generate a new Course Enrollment Key for student use.
- Course Enrollment Keys are valid for 14 days. If a new key is generated, the previous key will immediately become invalid; however, this will not affect students who have already enrolled in the course.
- Accounts with Library Administrator privileges are required to complete One-Time Password (OTP) verification when signing in. The login process and user experience for instructor and student accounts remain unchanged.

3. Teacher account shows a recent login within six months. Why is it still locked?
- The "last login date" includes any interaction, such as logging in or requesting a password reset.
- If you had not logged in for over six months previously and only recently reset your password, your account may still be locked.

4. I am a new teacher, but my account is locked. Why?
- If you previously used Turnitin as a student and had not logged in for over six months, your account may have been automatically locked when upgraded to a teacher account.
5. The password reset link validity period has been shortened: The validity period for the password reset link has been reduced from 24 hours to 1 hour. Please be sure to change your password within the time limit.
6. To ensure Quick Submit remains a reliable tool for its intended purpose of spotchecking one-off papers, on December 18th, the maximum number of submissions will be reduced from 100 to 25 per instructor within a 24-hour period.
