Advance HE EMI Training for Professional Academics Organized by Our Center for International Higher Education Training and Certification – Invitation for Faculty and Doctoral-Level Participants
Description:
1. The Advance HE EMI Training for Professional Academics is jointly delivered by certified trainers from Advance HE (UK) and our university’s international higher education training team. The program provides higher education teaching training that integrates international perspectives with Taiwan-based practical experience. Participants who complete the program will be awarded a certificate issued by Advance HE (UK).
2. Course Information:
(1) Target Participants: Faculty members, doctoral students, and doctoral-level professionals from public and private universities and colleges in Taiwan who wish to enhance their EMI teaching strategies and professional teaching development
(2) Course Duration: A total of 24 hours (including synchronous online sessions and in-person EMI teaching demonstrations and lesson observations)
(3) Course Objectives: To support instructors in improving their teaching techniques and strategies for delivering subject content in English (EMI), and to help them stay updated on the latest theories and practices in higher education teaching
