YZU Art and Design Department exhibits the artwork called as “the river is speaking”

The 2022 The New Taipei City Wetland ArtFest took place on January 8^th which is themed with "Flowing and Stacking ". Assistant Professor Wan-Wen Huang of the Dep. Art and Design of Yuan Ze University lead students to participate in the festival and jointly created the site-specific works named “the river is speaking” with local people.  Since the Art and Design Department established, the department has been cooperating with community residents in the way of "artistic intervention" to jointly create new value for the community and reconnect the relationship between people.  This year, the Wetland Art Festival worked with the residents in Banqiao District to make cloth slippers in biological colors of the wetland, reed corsages and wishing bamboos.
