YZU and FEMH jointly establish a Nursing Department promoting industry-academia collaboration and digital cloud-based programs

Yuan Ze University (YZU) and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital (FEMH) are dedicated to promoting industry-academia exchanges and accelerating innovation in smart healthcare. With the establishment of the Department of Nursing, both parties will combine digital cloud-based programs to nurture medical professionals with cross-disciplinary backgrounds, enhancing the development of intelligent health and the overall quality of healthcare. YZU and FEMH have been working together for many years in industry-academia collaboration. Since the signing of the academic cooperation agreement in 2016, both sides have achieved a lot of remarkable breakthroughs through joint research projects and faculty appointments. In 2020, they worked together to establish a College of Medicine & Nursing. They provided innovative design programs in cellular biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and medical engineering that have clinical applications.
