The 2025 Taipei International Book Exhibition was held from February 4 to February 9 at the Taipei World Trade Center, featuring the theme "Reading Fashion."
The exhibition design cleverly integrated elements of a T-shaped runway, press conferences, and backstage dressing rooms, providing visitors with a new immersive experience. Professor Wei-Jen Chen from Yuan Ze University’s College of General Studies with Tianhe Creative Publishing to make an appearance at the Independent Publishing Alliance exhibition area. Through guided industry tours and hands-on workshops, they showcased the diverse aspects of the publishing industry.
On the afternoon of the opening day, multiple book launch events took place on the "Reading Fashion" runway. Among them, Tianhe Creative Publishing presented two poetry collections: "The Girl Loheim Spoke to Me" by Song Bai-Ying and "Passing Through a Glimmering Island" by Mi Hua-Lu. In a Q&A session, Professor Chen, the editor-in-chief, and the authors explored the creative process and artistic concepts behind these works, allowing readers to connect with the authors in an engaging way. Additionally, a reader meet-and-greet was held during a prime time slot for the bestselling poetry collection "Sick Cat Anthology" by Zhao She-Gong, providing poetry enthusiasts with the opportunity to interact closely with the author.
