Yuan Ze College of Management’s Wisdom Hub Officially Opened, Collaborates with Alumni and Enterprises to Co-Create a New Blueprint

Yuan Ze University’s College of Management officially inaugurated the Wisdom Hub, bringing together distinguished alumni, representatives from the Yuan Ze Alumni Association, the College of Management Alumni Association, the College of Management PhD Society, the EMBA Alumni Association, and the EMBA Fellowship to jointly outline a blueprint for industry-academia collaboration. The event aimed to expand the College's cross-sector influence and create a future of shared value for its community. Serving as a new platform for communication, Wisdom Hub gathered faculty, students, alumni, and industry mentors, promoted cross-disciplinary collaboration and resource sharing, and marked a new starting point for innovation, cooperation, and mutual benefit at the College of Management.

During her speech, Dean Min-Ping Huang stated that the College would deepen its collaboration with alumni enterprises through a “College-Enterprise Collaboration Blueprint” along four main directions: two-way communication, talent co-development, space optimization, and enhancing academic prestige. First, the College established two-way communication channels, regularly updated alumni on the College’s developments, recorded alumni interview videos, and distributed these through the College’s YearBook, thereby enhancing alumni’s sense of connection and recognition.

In terms of talent co-development, the College promoted an Industry Mentor Alliance, covering fields such as semiconductors, AI, innovation and entrepreneurship, and international business. Through mentors’ career sharing and consultations, corporate internships, and industry-academia cooperation, the program helped students align with industry needs, reduce gaps between study and practice, and improve employability.

Regarding space optimization, in addition to the newly inaugurated Wisdom Hub, the College planned to establish an Alumni Honor Wall to express gratitude and share alumni achievements. It also planned to create the Forum Lecture Hall, hosting celebrity lectures, talks, and exchanges to promote cross-sector dialogue and knowledge co-creation.

The College also actively invited internationally or nationally recognized figures from academia and industry to serve as honorary professors, further enhancing its academic reputation. Key research centers, such as the “Chinese Family Business and Modernization Transformation” initiative, were established to consolidate a foundation combining academic and practical development.

On the day of the event, numerous distinguished alumni and corporate leaders attended, including Yao-Xing Yu, Chairman of Yao-Xing Technology; Jia-De Wu, General Manager of Wei-He Catering Group; Li-Ming Jin, CEO of Taiwan Human Capital; Sheng-Ming Huang, CEO of Dexin Furniture; Bi-Yu Zheng, Spokesperson of Holtek Technology; Kun-Nan Wei, President of the Yuan Ze Alumni Association and Chairman of Fuzhu Technology; De-An Liu, Vice President of the College of Management Alumni Association and CEO of Taiwan Carbon Assets; Zhao-Zhan You, Secretary General of the College Alumni Association and Deputy Director of Operations Management at Zhi-Sheng Industrial; Jian-Song Chen, President of the College of Management PhD Society; Zi-Hua Zhuang, Vice President of the PhD Society and Chairman of Longyuan Group; Jia-Yu Bi, Secretary General of the PhD Society; Chun-Hui Liu, President of the EMBA Alumni Association and Chairman of Yong-Hui Flooring; Wang-Feng Li, Executive Director of Hong-Qi Management Consulting; and Zhen-Cong Zhang, Supervisor of Han-Tai Technology.

During the panel discussions, several alumni offered valuable suggestions. Kun-Nan Wei emphasized that the College could reference the corporate academy model, integrating knowledge transfer and practical experience, and assist students in understanding industry trends and employment opportunities through a mentorship system. Zhao-Zhan You suggested paying attention to local needs in the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli region, transforming corporate pain points into courses or internship themes to reduce gaps between study and practice. Participating alumni generally agreed that the College should continue to increase internship and corporate visit opportunities, and that celebrity lectures and alumni talks could promote intergenerational exchange, acting as a long-term bridge among students, alumni, and enterprises.

Dean Min-Ping Huang concluded by emphasizing that the “College-Enterprise Collaboration Blueprint” would be a key direction for the College’s future development. The College planned to establish a College-Enterprise Committee to systematically promote industry-academia collaboration, leverage alumni resources, and expand both international vision and local connections. She noted that the inauguration of the Wisdom Hub not only demonstrated the College’s determination to unite alumni and corporate strengths but also promoted talent co-development and cross-sector collaboration, unlocking the power of shared value creation and advancing a future of innovation and mutual benefit.
