Please be informed that the Northern Education Academic Information Security Operations Center, National Taiwan University will hold the training course "Key Practices and Implementation of Personal Data Protection on Campus" (see the attached file for details).

  1. This announcement is made in accordance with National Taiwan University Letter No. 1150062129, dated July 13, 2026.
  2. To assist information security personnel within the education sector in understanding the latest amendments to the Personal Data Protection Act and the challenges of implementing personal data protection, the Center will hold the training course "Key Practices and Implementation of Personal Data Protection on Campus" on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  3. The course will focus on the core practices of personal data protection in higher education institutions. Topics include the latest amendments to the Personal Data Protection Act, key compliance considerations, and an in-depth discussion of the practical challenges faced by universities in promoting personal data protection, particularly in terms of staff awareness and technical operations. The course aims to help faculty, staff, and IT personnel establish effective measures to prevent personal data breaches while balancing administrative efficiency with regulatory compliance, thereby safeguarding personal data security on campus.
  4. The training will be offered in both on-site and online formats. Information security personnel are encouraged to register and participate. Participants may apply for official leave to attend, and teacher professional development hours will be granted upon completion.
