繁 2017 Taoyuan Land Art Festival is held at Guanyin and Bade Districts, Taoyuan from August 18 to September 3. Prof. C.K Lin from Department of Art and Design, Yuan Ze University with students designed the work together, named as MU the land of fertilization, which used milk cans as outdoor installation in Guangfu Community .It was initiated by the idea that the life comes from the land and it stressed the connection between the landscape and human beings.
Prof. C.K Lin said that the theme of the design is ” fertilization” which means the lifecycle of grass, cow, milk and new life. Grass is the main food for cow herd and the milk produced by cow herd is one of the foods for the infants. These three (the land, cow herd and infants) stay in the relations of mutual fertilization. The outdoor creation of milk cans is based on the concept of land breeding life and puts greater emphasis on the combination of landscape and men.
