NSTC Research Grant Call for Proposals
We’re the government agency in charge of promoting science and technology in Taiwan. Our work centers on three main goals: helping the country grow through science and tech, supporting academic research, and developing science parks across the nation.
To do this, we plan and guide national science and technology policies, fund research and innovation, support major R&D projects, and encourage collaboration between universities and industries. We also help develop cutting-edge technologies for the future, manage science parks, and oversee national funding that supports these efforts.
Project Results

PLAN
Academic Collaboration Program with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital
Yuan Ze University has established a strong research partnership with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital. Our faculty members have jointly undertaken several research projects and co-authored academic publications. The collaboration focuses on long-term development in areas such as biotechnology, medical research, and long-term care, with the shared aim of advancing healthcare innovation and improving quality of life.
Greater Taoyuan Industrial Development Initiative
Yuan Ze University is working with the Industrial Development Administration (IDA), MOEA, to support manufacturers in the Guanyin and Zhongli industrial zones. By bringing in our research and technology, we aim to create more industry-academia collaboration and build lasting ties with local businesses.
Far Eastern Group Talent Development A+B Program
We're teaming up with the Far Eastern Group to launch the “Talent Development Internship Program,” which connects internships with future job opportunities. Through this program, students get early hands-on experience in the workplace, helping them build confidence and get ready for their careers. At the same time, it gives companies a chance to discover great talent and strengthens their interest and satisfaction in hiring graduates from Yuan Ze University.
Research Center
We’ve built several specialized research centers and are actively working with companies to grow industry-academia collaboration. Our goal is to turn research into real-world solutions and products, creating a healthy cycle where success supports further innovation.
We’re also turning project results into teaching materials and helping students earn professional certifications—making sure they’re ready to meet industry needs.
