Funding Categories | - Operating Expenses: Research personnel costs (full-time/part-time assistants, temporary wages, postdoctoral researchers) - Equipment Expenses: Only service-related equipment is eligible; research-related equipment is not covered - International Travel Expenses - Administrative Fees |

Project Application and Work Process
Item | Time | Description |
1. New Application | May to August (Subject to announcement by the National Science Council) | Submit the first-phase plan online. Applicants who meet the requirements may proceed to submit the second-phase plan. |
2. Continuation Plan Report | Before the end of October | Submit the continuation plan report online. |
3. Review Stage | November to January of the following year | Includes online review, briefing sessions (presented by applicants), and decision-making meetings. |
4. Funding Allocation | First phase: February to April Second phase: July to September (Subject to notification by the National Science Council) |
The National Science Council will sign a supplementary contract with the executing agency. After both parties sign, funds will be allocated according to regulations. |
5. On-site Inspection | March to April (Subject to notification by the National Science Council) | Random inspections based on project execution status to assess implementation and provide improvement suggestions if needed. |
6. Results Announcement | May (Subject to notification by the National Science Council) | Joint alliance results presentation. |
