|
Attach the first two pages of the journal marked with the revised wording (including the Article Title), contribution certificate, and receipt. Please send it to the Research and Development Office together with the application form for the journal revision fee subsidy.

How to apply
|
- Before the conference, teachers applying for these subsidies should apply to the NSTC for funding and grants. However, if an NSTC project has already been approved during the same year and approval for funding to attend the international conference has been acquired, an additional application is not required for submission to the NSTC.
- Apply for subsidies to the affiliated college/department two weeks before the meeting.

|
The number of subsidies for each teacher is limited to one time per school year, and the actual subsidy funds are based on the principle of actual reimbursement. The maximum subsidy funds per person per school year shall not exceed NT$30,000.

How to apply |
- Applications for subsidies must be submitted to the NSTC by the end of the month, two months prior to the conference date. However, if the applicant receives the paper acceptance notification after this deadline, the application may still be accepted without prior submission to the NSTC, provided that proof of paper acceptance is attached. Applications will not be accepted if the applicant simply missed the NSTC application deadline.
- For co-authored papers, only one author is eligible to receive a subsidy for presenting the same paper. Other co-authors (including faculty members) are not allowed to apply for any other subsidies, either within or outside the university, using the same paper. Applicants must sign the application form to declare that they have not applied for subsidies from any other organization for the same paper.
- For applicants who have received NSTC subsidies under the “Graduate Student Attendance at International Academic Conferences” program, expenses such as airfare and registration fees must be reimbursed within the approved subsidy amount. Other expenses related to attending the same conference that are not covered by the subsidy (e.g., daily living expenses) may be reimbursed under any NSTC-funded research project, such as the advisor’s research project.

Subsidy content |
This program is funded by the Ministry of Education and supported by matching funds from the university. The subsidy targets include PhD students and master’s students who have received funding from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). In principle, each eligible student may receive the subsidy once per academic year, subject to the annual budget allocated by the Ministry of Education and the university.
- For PhD students who have received NSTC funding, the maximum subsidy for living expenses per case is NT$12,000.
- For PhD students without NSTC funding, the subsidy cap is NT$28,000 for conferences held in Asia;For those attending conferences outside of Asia, the subsidy cap is NT$40,000.
- For master’s students who have received NSTC funding, the maximum subsidy for living expenses per case is NT$5,000.

|
Newly-employed full-time teachers (limited to associate professors and below) who have applied for the particular research project of NSTC within three-year teaching and research experience can apply for this subsidy. Each person can apply for a maximum of one grant.

The upper limit is 20% of the particular research project funds (excluding management fees and foreign travel expenses), and the maximum approved amount is NT$300,000 per case.
