To ensure transparency and efficiency in procurement operations, Yuan Ze University adheres to the relevant regulations and guidelines set forth by the Public Construction Commission of the Executive Yuan. The scope of procurement is categorized as follows:

  1. Construction ProcurementlConstruction refers to activities involving the creation, expansion, renovation, repair, or demolition of structures and their affiliated facilities, as well as modifications to the natural environment. This includes, but is not limited to, the fields of architecture, civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, environmental engineering, transportation, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, and other types of projects officially recognized by the Public Construction Commission.
  1. Procurement of Goods and Services (Procedures for Procurement of Property and Services)This category encompasses the acquisition, customization, and leasing of goods, as well as the commissioning or employment of services.
  • Goods include various items (excluding fresh agricultural and fishery products), materials, equipment, machinery, movable properties, rights, and other items recognized by the Commission.
  • Services include professional services, technical services, information services, research and development, operations management, maintenance, training, labor, and other service types as defined by the Commission.
  1. Where the content of a procurement involves construction work, property and service, or any two of them, and it is difficult to categorize the content of the procurement as construction work, property, or service, the one which takes the highest percentage of the budget of procurement shall govern.
