EN Notification from the Public Construction Commission of the Executive Yuan and the Ministry of Digital Affairs regarding the “Reference Table of Basic Cybersecurity Requirements for Various Types of Information Procurement” and “Guidelines for Information Service Procurement Operations”
All university departments must refer to the attached documents and implement the relevant regulations when drafting specifications for information security procurement.
1. The “Guidelines for Information Service Procurement Operations” issued by the Public Construction Commission of the Executive Yuan may be used immediately as the operational guide for handling information service procurement.
2. Considering that agencies will follow the “Reference Table of Basic Cybersecurity Requirements for Various Types of Information (Service) Procurement,” vendors should make necessary adjustments accordingly. To allow vendors sufficient time to prepare, cybersecurity requirements for general-level data or system types will officially take effect on March 1, 2024, while requirements for medium and high-level types will take effect on August 1, 2024.
