The National Museum of Natural Science (hereinafter referred to as "the Museum") provides internship opportunities for college and university students (including graduate students) to strengthen their practical professional skills, apply theoretical knowledge, gain workplace experience, and establish correct work attitudes and professional ethics.
Eligibility
Applicants must be current students (including graduate students) at domestic or international colleges and universities during the internship period. Applicants’ fields of study should be related to the Museum’s operations, or they should have an interest in practical training in museum research, collection management, exhibition, education, or management.
Internship Period, Hours, and Leave Regulations

Duration: The internship period for this year is from July 3, 2026 (Friday) to August 30, 2026 (Sunday). Interns must complete a minimum of 280 hours.

Daily Schedule: In principle, interns work 8 hours per day (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) with a 1-hour lunch break. Days off follow the administrative calendar of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration. However, internships in areas such as educational activities, gallery operations, and visitor services follow a shift-based system; interns in these areas will have rotating days off and must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Force Majeure: In the event of force majeure such as pandemics or typhoons, procedures will follow the official announcements of office and school closures from central and local governments. If the minimum required hours are not met due to such events, the internship certificate will be issued based on the actual hours completed.
