The Kaohsiung City Government is launching the "2026 Summer Municipal Affairs Internship Program," offering students who are either residents of Kaohsiung or studying at universities within the city an opportunity to engage in municipal learning.
Program Details:

Target Candidates: Students who hold household registration in Kaohsiung City or are currently enrolled in universities/colleges located in Kaohsiung.

Learning Content: Practical operations and experiences in municipal affairs.

Period and Hours: Conducted during the university summer break, with a minimum requirement of 80 learning hours.

Certification: Students who complete 80 or more hours will be issued a Certificate of Completion in the name of the Mayor. Please note that hours are calculated based on actual participation in assigned projects.
Fees and Insurance:

Insurance: Relevant student insurance must be handled and provided by the respective universities.

Compensation: This is an unpaid program. No salary, allowances, work-study payments, meals, accommodation, or transportation expenses will be provided during the municipal learning period.
Application Process:
Individual departments/units must compile and submit the Student Municipal Affairs Internship Application Forms to the Research, Development, and Evaluation Commission by 12:00 PM on April 2, 2026.
