Far Eastern Y.Z. Hsu Science and Technology Memorial Foundation, Far Eastern Memorial Foundation with Far Eastern group held groundbreaking ceremony for the “Far Eastern International Convention Center” located next to Yuan Ze University on April 12, 2021. Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua, Minister of Culture Li Yong-de, Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan and Far East Group Chairman Douglas Hsu jointly break ground.

Far Eastern Group invested nearly NT$10 billion to build the “Far Eastern International Conference Center” with a site area of 36,837 square meters and a total floor area of 59,450 square meters. It is design by Santiago Calatrava, the world-famous architect, structural engineer and poet. The project includes three buildings, Conference Center, Y.Z. Hsu Memorial Hall and Art Center as the venues for charitable events, academic and technology exchange.
