Yuan Ze University (YZU) has been ranked among the world’s top 500 universities in Business & Economics, Computer Science, and Engineering, according to the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Subject Rankings.

Notably, Business & Economics and Computer Science ranked No. 1 in Taiwan for “International Outlook,” highlighting YZU’s strong international presence in faculty, research collaboration, and student diversity.

The THE subject rankings assess universities across five key dimensions: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry Engagement, and International Outlook. YZU’s strong performance across multiple disciplines reflects its strengths in interdisciplinary education, research excellence, and global engagement.

President Ching-Jong Liao noted that this recognition, together with YZU’s recent QS Global Engagement – Performance Improvement Award (Asia-Pacific), demonstrates the university’s long-term commitment to internationalization and academic excellence.
