Teaching Position Available International Language & Culture Center, Yuan Ze University  

International Language & Culture Center at Yuan Ze University in Taoyuan City, Taiwan (R.O.C) invites applications for one full-time faculty position (Assistant professor level or above). The appointment is to begin on August 1, 2024.

Qualifications:

1. D. in TESOL/Applied Linguistics.
2. Scholarly publications and professional experience.
3. Ability to teach EMI undergraduate English Courses.
4. College or university teaching experience preferred.
5. Participate and support teaching-related activities in the center.

Application Documents:

1. Curriculum vitae (please download the form from YZU Personnel Office website)
2. Photocopy of PhD diploma and proof of previous academic employment (if any)
3. Autobiography
4. Graduate transcripts.
5. Two letters of recommendation written within the last two years.
6. One printed copy and one electronic copy of dissertation.
7. At most 5 publications within five years, both printed and electronic files.
8. Sample of courses syllabi and 15 minutes of teaching demo.
9. Photocopy of ID/passport or R.O.C. Alien Residence Certificate.
10. Candidate holding a graduation certificate from foreign country should have certified or attested by the Taiwan’s official or semi-official office in foreign nations.
11. Teaching Certificate issued by MOE (if applicable).
