Department of Computer Science and Engineering is Recruiting Foreign Full-Time Faculty Members - Appointment from August 1, 2024 International Faculty Recruitment

Summary:

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all academic ranks and in all related areas of computer science.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree, a strong commitment to excellent research and teaching, and outstanding research records or potential. The department offers BS/MS/Ph.D. programs and provides an excellent research and teaching environment.

Recruited Position: Full-time faculty with positions in Assistant/Associate/Full Professor

Date of Appointment: August 1, 2024

Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields/disciplines.

Required Documents: Please submit the following documents by e-mail or by post before March 18, 2024:

  1. Letter of application
  2. Curriculum vitae (with educational background, research interests, and teaching experience)
  3. D. diploma*
  4. Transcript for the highest degree*
  5. Teacher qualification certificate (if any)
  6. D. dissertation
  7. Publication list and 1~3 copies of selected publications in recent 5 years
  8. Research statement (with a list of past and on-going research grants)
  9. Teaching statement (with intended subjects and evaluation questionnaires, if any)
  10. Two recommendation letters (including the contact information of recommenders)
  11. Other supporting materials (awards, patents, …, etc.)

International academic records, including the diploma and the transcript, should be certified by the Republic of China embassy, consulate, or mission.
