Faculty Recruitment Announcement for the 2nd Semester of Academic Year 2025 (Starting February 2026, Tentative)
1. Position : Assistant Professor or above.
2. Number of Positions : Two (2).
3. Appointment Start Date: Tentatively February 1, 2026. (For those without a valid work permit or Employment Gold Card within the legal time frame, the appointment will commence on August 1, 2026.)
4. Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, from a domestic or international institution. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in electrical, electronics, or information-related disciplines. Exceptionally qualified scholars from other fields may also be considered. Applicants must demonstrate strong enthusiasm for teaching and service, team spirit, interpersonal skills, and the ability to teach in English.

(1). Curriculum Vitae and Autobiography (including education and experience at university level or above, and areas of expertise).
(2). Copy of highest degree certificate. (For foreign degrees, a diploma verified by a local overseas mission is required. If the diploma has not yet been issued, a provisional certificate is acceptable. See Note 6 for details.) (3). Yuan Ze University Faculty Qualification Review Form: YZU Faculty qualification form
(4). Copy of the transcript of the highest degree.
(5). Copy of Ministry of Education (MOE) teaching certificate (if available).
(6). Representative publications from the past 5 years (include full texts of journal papers) and a list of publications (indicate source). Include previous research experience and major achievements.
(7). Two recommendation letters (one from the Ph.D. advisor is preferred; letters may be emailed directly by referees).
(8). Proposed courses and future research plan. (Refer to the curriculum page: https://portalfun.yzu.edu.tw/cosSelect/Login.aspx?Version=EN , and click on the required and elective courses of the department.)
(9). Full-text of Ph.D. dissertation in digital format. (Please provide a cloud link for download.)
(10). Any additional supporting documents (e.g., awards, patents in professional fields).
