Faculty Position Announcement – Department of Industrial Engineering and Management

Position Information

  1. Position: Assistant Professor or above
  2. Starting Date: February 1, 2025
  3. Vacancy: One (1) full-time faculty position

Qualifications

  1. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree recognized by the Ministry of Education (Taiwan) in Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Management, Mathematics, or a related field from a domestic or overseas institution.
  2. Demonstrated excellence in research.
  3. Strong commitment to teaching, university service, teamwork, and collaborative work with colleagues.
  4. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: smart manufacturing, information technology, data science, service science management, production and supply chain management, statistics and quality management, or other Industrial Engineering and Management-related fields.
  5. Applications from qualified international candidates are sincerely welcomed.
  6. Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both Chinese and English.

Required Application Documents

  1. Completed Basic Information Form for Recruited Teachers of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (DOC) (opens in new window).
  2. Autobiography.
  3. Statement of research and teaching interests, including research areas, research projects, teaching plans, and future research directions.
  4. A copy of the highest degree certificate. Applicants with foreign degrees must provide a diploma authenticated by an ROC overseas representative office. Applicants who have not yet graduated may submit an advisor's certification indicating the expected graduation date.
  5. A copy of the highest academic transcript. Foreign transcripts must be authenticated by an ROC overseas representative office.
  6. A copy of the official teacher certificate for the current academic rank (if available).
  7. Copies of publications and publication list (including patents) from the past five years, with publication sources indicated.
