Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field from a domestic or international university. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding research performance, a strong commitment to teaching and service, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to teach courses related to communications, signal processing, and mathematics in English.
Area of Expertise
Communication Engineering, including advanced communications, software-defined radio (SDR), satellite technology, communication networks, and related fields.

Required Documents

  1. YZU Faculty Qualification Form (Download).
  2. Application Form for New Full-time Faculty ( Download ).
  3. Personal résumé and autobiography, including educational background, professional experience, and areas of specialization.
  4. Copy of the highest academic degree certificate. Applicants holding foreign degrees must submit degree certificates verified by an ROC overseas representative office. Applicants who have not yet graduated may submit an official letter from their academic advisor indicating the expected graduation date.
  5. Copy of the transcript for the highest academic degree. Foreign transcripts must be verified by an ROC overseas representative office.
  6. Copy of the Ministry of Education Teacher Certificate (if applicable).
  7. List of courses you are qualified to teach and your future research plan. Refer to the department's mandatory course list .
  8. Electronic copies of publications and conference papers published within the last five years, including publication sources, together with a summary of previous research and major achievements.
  9. Other supporting documents, such as awards, patents, or other materials that may assist the review process.
  10. Electronic copy of the Ph.D. dissertation. (Not required for applicants who already hold a Ministry of Education Teacher Certificate.)
