Faculty Positions in the College of General Studies of Yuan Ze University

1. Position:
Full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

2. Number of Positions:1

3. Appointment Start Date:From August 1,2026

4. Qualifications:

  1. Possess a doctoral degree from a domestic or foreign university and be capable of teaching in English.
  2. Experience in applying for and executing USR (University Social Responsibility) projects is preferred.

5. Area of Expertise:
General Education (Humanities & Social Sciences or Natural Sciences & Life Sciences).

  1. Faculty qualification review resume form (Download here)
  2. Personal CV and autobiography (including education and work experience above university level, and areas of expertise)
  3. Copy of highest degree certificate (For foreign degrees, please provide a diploma verified by a Taiwan overseas office. If the diploma is not yet available, a provisional certificate is acceptable.)
  4. Copy of transcript for the highest degree (For foreign degrees, please provide a transcript verified by a Taiwan overseas office.)
  5. Copy of Ministry of Education teaching certificate (if available)
  6. Representative publications and list from the past five years (with sources indicated), research experience, and major achievements
  7. USR project proposal
  8. List of courses that can be taught (at least 4) and future research directions (see related courses at https://www.ge.yzu.edu.tw/modules/news/index.php?storytopic=13)
  9. Other documents helpful for review (such as awards, patents in professional fields, research or curriculum projects executed, major academic honors, outstanding teaching records, etc.)
  10. Two letters of recommendation (to be sealed by the referees)
