Starting from Academic Year 115, the University’s off-campus leased dormitory, “Jixian Building,” will be in operation. The accommodation types and fees are as follows:
Single room: NTD 78,000 per person per academic year
Double room: NTD 48,000 per person per academic year
Deposit: NTD 2,000 per year (refundable without interest after one year upon successful completion of the check-out inspection)
Electricity fee: Charged according to Taipower rates (to be paid by residents)
Water fee: Included in the dormitory fee
Internet: Wireless internet (20 Mbps) provided free of charge
Additional Notes:
- Students who are assigned a dormitory space are required, in principle, to stay for one full academic year and pay dormitory fees for both semesters (except for students without official student status). Dormitory fees are charged on an academic-year basis and paid in two installments (one per semester), together with tuition and miscellaneous fees.
- Students who wish to terminate their stay before the end of the accommodation period must submit an application. If the request is not approved, no refund of the deposit or the current semester’s dormitory fee will be granted, and the next semester’s dormitory fee must still be paid. Exceptions may be granted for special circumstances such as graduation, suspension, withdrawal, transfer, internship, exchange programs, or other force majeure events, subject to approval.
- Students with domestic status residing in this dormitory are only eligible to apply for the on-campus housing subsidy for colleges and universities. The subsidy amount is NTD 5,000 per semester for general students, and NTD 7,000 per semester for students from low-income or middle-to-low-income households, as well as children of active-duty military personnel.
- All other management measures and regulations shall be handled in accordance with the Yuan Ze University’s Dormitory Management Rules.
