[SHSS Announcement] 115 Summer Vacation Housing Application for Individuals and Organizations/Camps

I. Eligibility

  1. Individual Applications:
    Applicants must have valid reasons such as summer courses, research, internships, experiments, or on-campus part-time work. Only full-period stays are accepted.

Note:

a. Exceptions may be made for international students with special short-term needs.
b. The accommodation fee for Master and PhD students already includes summer and winter housing fees. If you will not continue staying in the dormitory next semester, your housing period for this semester will end on July 31.

  1. Group Applications:
    School teams, student clubs, or campus units requiring short-term summer housing may apply collectively through a designated representative (staff or student) to the Student Housing Service Section.

2.Application Period : From May 11 to 16:00 May 14, 2026.

3. Summer Vacation Housing Period

  1. Groups & Domestic Students (Individual): July 1 – September 4, 2026
    Move-out arrangements are required on June 30 and August 27.(Domestic Student Only) Applicants who cannot comply should not apply.
  2. International Students (Overseas Chinese, Mainland China, and Foreign Students): July 1 – September 4, 2026
    Applications for non-continuous stays will not be accepted.

4. Application Procedure

Individual Application

    • Log in to the portal → select “Dormitory Application” → complete the summer vacation Housing application.
    • Print out the application form after submission, sign it, and submit it to the Student Housing Service Section for review.
    • Bring the form to the General Affairs Office or Finance Division for payment.
    • Submit the stamped application form (with payment confirmation) to the Student Housing Service Section before 16:00 on May 14.
      Bed assignments will be arranged centrally. Please keep your receipt for future reference.

Group Application

    • Due to check-out schedules and freshman activities, applications before July 1 and after August 14 will not be accepted.
    • The organizing unit must designate one Yuan Ze student to log into the portal and apply for winter/summer housing to generate the payment record.
    • Download and complete the “Yuan Ze University Dormitory Summer/Winter Camp Housing Application Form”, and submit it along with the participant list (link) to the Student Housing Service Section.
    • Submit the stamped application form after payment for bed assignment.

5. Available Dormitories : Dorm 1 and Dorm 2

(Subject to adjustment if major maintenance works are scheduled during summer.)

6. Fees (No refunds will be issued for early termination. Please consider carefully before applying.)

  • Accommodation Fee: NTD 150 per day (Dorm 1 & 2)
  • Cleaning Fee:
    • Individual: NTD 75 per person (International students may remain in their original beds)
    • Group: NTD 300 per room

Note

Hot water supply:

  • When occupancy is low: electric heaters (24 hours)
  • When occupancy is high: boiler system (19:00–22:00)
