Off-Campus Access to Online Resources

To prevent problems for those connecting through a firewall or some browsers on Macintosh computers, the way of off-campus connecting to library licensed e-resources has been shifted to AutoRPA (Auto Remote Patron Authentication) system replacing the prior Proxy Server Setup.

Follow the steps below for more information.

  1. Click on Get an Authentication and login with your YZU ID and password. All library online resources are available from off-campus after successful authentication. [Note that on-campus access does not require any user authentication.]
  2. Close all Open Web Browser Windows to quit the AutoRPA after use of e-resources.
  3. In case of problems occurred with AutoRPA authentication, you may report your problems to the Library References (ext. 2322) or email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Please note:

  1. Due to the campus licensing restraints, use of library e-resources is restricted to current YZU students, faculty and staff for the purpose of academic research and teaching.
  2. Please adhere to copyright regulations when using library resources. Usage of these resources is governed by copyright law and individual license agreements. Systematic downloading, photocopying, online-distributing, or retaining substantial portions of information is prohibited. Violators will face legal consequences with the library access rights revoked.
