To enhance campus public safety and improve response readiness for sudden cardiac emergencies, the University has recently installed additional Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) on campus.
An AED is a vital emergency medical device that, in the event of sudden cardiac arrest, provides voice-guided instructions to assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation, helping to maximize the chances of survival.
All faculty, staff, and students are kindly requested to be aware of the locations of AEDs on campus and to make appropriate use of them in emergency situations. Please also immediately contact the relevant campus units or dial 119 to ensure timely assistance and to help safeguard campus safety.

Let us work together to understand and make effective use of campus emergency resources, lend a helping hand in critical moments, and jointly safeguard the safety of each other’s lives. ❤️
