I. Application Period and Venue
- Time: From now until 5:00 PM, March 27, 2026 (Friday).
- Venue: Life Guidance Section, 2nd Floor, Activity Center.
- Note: Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
II. Eligibility
- Basic Requirements: Currently enrolled undergraduate students (Years 1-4), Master's students (Years 1-2), and PhD students (Years 1-4). In-service programs are excluded. Applicants must have a conduct grade of 80 or above and no disciplinary records.
- Specific Criteria:
- Holders of Low-income or Mid-low income certificates issued by the government for the 114-1 or 114-2 semester.
- Families continuously affected by the U.S. tariff impact during the 2025 academic year, resulting in economic hardship (e.g., involuntary reduced work hours, unpaid leave, layoffs, significant salary reduction, business closure, or cancelled orders).
III. Application Documents
- Transcript of records for all semesters (Mandatory).
- 2025 or 2026 Low-income/Mid-low income certificate.
- Proof of income change for the primary breadwinner: Salary reduction/unpaid leave/layoff notices, payslips, withholding statements, company business tax records, or Certification from your Advisor.
IV. Grant Amount
- Students with Low/Mid-low income certificates for the 114-1 or 114-2 semester: NT$3,000 to NT$5,000 per month.
- Students with the certificates above AND class ranking in the top 50% for the previous semester: NT$5,000 to NT$7,000 per month.
- Students affected by U.S. tariff economic hardship: NT$3,000 to NT$5,000 per month, or a one-time emergency relief fund of NT$50,000.
V. Notes
- For those with Low/Mid-low income certificates for the 114-1 semester, grants can be retroactively applied from September 2025 to January 2026.
- If the number of applicants exceeds the budget, priority will be given to those who did not receive the scholarship in the previous semester.
- Under the principle of non-duplication of resources, students who have already received the 2025 MOE Scholarship for Students from Low-income Families or other government scholarships of a similar nature are ineligible.
- The funding for this scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Education; the amount may be adjusted based on the current year’s subsidies.
- If a student graduates (up to June), withdraws, takes a leave of absence, transfers, or receives disciplinary action, payments will cease starting the month following the occurrence.
- Any unaddressed matters will be handled in accordance with relevant MOE regulations.
