< Program Introduction > 

The Ministry of Education provides students with the opportunity to take AI courses across universities, fostering collaboration among institutions to jointly cultivate future talents. This initiative has led to the establishment of the Taiwan Artificial Intelligence College Alliance (TAICA). Currently, the alliance offers four AI credit-based programs that students can take across participating universities. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate for the respective credit program.

< Certificate Issuance Requirements >

  1. Students must complete a total of 15 credits to fulfill the requirements of the credit program.
  2. Up to 6 credits can be mutually transferred between different credit programs under TAICA.
  3. To obtain a credit program certificate, students must complete at least 8 credits of TAICA-recognized courses within the respective program, including both mirror and satellite courses.
  4. Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a digital certificate issued by the Ministry of Education under TAICA.

 

< TAICA Course Information per Semester >

Course Selection Guidelines and Important Notes:

  1. The course enrollment limits are set by TAICA. Manual enrollment is not permitted for mirror courses. For satellite courses, students may first consult with the assistant teacher on campus to proceed with manual enrollment.
  1. As mirror courses are offered by different institutions, the start week, class times, and schedules may differ from those at our university. Please refer to the course notes for more details.
  1. Some courses may have specific departmental eligibility, required background knowledge, equipment requirements, or policies regarding course withdrawal, especially during midterm periods. Please review the course notes carefully.
  1. TAICA courses must not conflict with other registered courses. Students must follow the institution’s standard course selection procedures and deadlines.
  1. Students' enrollment in TAICA courses is generally counted as free elective credits. Whether these courses can replace required or elective courses in each department should be confirmed by consulting the respective offering departments.
  1. Students should register through our university's online course selection system during the designated registration period. The list of students who have registered will be uploaded to the NTU COOL platform, and students will receive a course invitation email at their official university email address (e.g., s+student This email address is being protected from spambots.   1. Classes are conducted via the online platform NTU COOL: https://cool.ntu.edu.tw/login/portal. Please be advised that some courses may schedule exams and report submissions during the same time slot.

 

Additional Notes: Final course arrangements are subject to change and will follow the instructor’s official instructional plan.
