Transfer Students: For students transferring to the second year, the principle for credit exemption is up to 50 credits; for those transferring to the third year, the principle is up to 100 credits.
Master's and Ph.D. Students: The total credits exempted in graduate programs are capped at half of the minimum graduation credits (excluding thesis credits).
How can I process credit transfer?
Please go to the "Credit Transfer" page on the portal to apply.
For students transferring to another department, please complete the paper application form (Waiver Course/Transfer Credit Application Form) and submit one copy of the original Chinese transcript for the application.
Is there a time limit for applying for credit transfer?
Applications must be submitted within the specified period as per the academic calendar, and late submissions will not be accepted.
If a student fails to apply in the first semester (or if there are omitted courses), a one-time opportunity is given to submit the request during the specified period in the second semester.
Subsequent applications for credit transfer are allowed in cases of curriculum changes, department transfers, pursuit of minors, double major programs, or other special circumstances.
However, applicants must provide transcripts from the original institution, and the exemption credits granted should not result in an increase in grade year.
