Apply for Suspension

Application flow

1. Log in the portal system and click the “Suspension” button of “ask for leave”. Print out “Application for Suspension of Schooling”、 “Student Status Termination Form” and conduct to leave school the procedure.

2. Take the Student Status Termination Form to the office of your department. Besides, graduate students have to call on your advisee to sign it.

3. Log in the portal system and click the “ask for leave” button. Make sure all the administration units are checked and passed.

4. Take the Student Status Termination Form, Application for Suspension of Schooling and student ID to office of academic affairs, and apply for dropping out and leaving application.

Notice

1. Students suffering from serious illness and are apply for suspension must to product medical certificate, besides needs YZU Student Counseling Section or Health Care Section to prove the student have necessary suspension.

2. Other reasons for apply suspension must have the permission of the parents or the legal guardian with a written consent (not for students aged 25 or older).

3. A freshman student in college at first semester: Unless Compulsory military service and serious illness, other applies for suspension will be rejecting, but serious accident will discuss by the Academic Affairs Meeting

A freshman student in college at second semester: Unless Compulsory military service and serious illness, other apply for suspension to be agree one semester, but serious accident will discuss by the Academic Affairs Meeting

4. Student who applies for suspension will not pass before registration still need payment of tuition. (refunds after passing).

5. Applications for leave for the current semester must be submitted before the official final examination late applications will not be accepted.

6. Students who not payment of registration fees and after the registration date to apply for suspension of the university.

(1) No student tuition loan→ Student should to pay tuition by the aforesaid regulation.

(2) Not pass student tuition loan→ Student should to pay tuition by the aforesaid regulation, drop out loan qualifications.

(3) After pass student tuition loan and applying for suspension→ To deduct from tuition, other to return to bank, not return to person.

7. No matter how money payments, it will not count in semester during suspension.

Suspension & Refund

1. If you finish the complete process before register then you will receive all the refunds.

2.  Before the 1/3 of semester, you will receive 2/3 of the refund.

3. Before the 2/3 of semester, you will receive 1/3 of the refund.

4. Over than 2/3 of the semester, you can not receive the refund
