公告111-2學期研究生轉所申請時程及相關事項/Procedures for graduate students applying for Change of Major of the 2nd Semester of 111 School Year

 主旨:公告111-2學期研究生轉所申請時程及相關事項。

說明:

     一、申請期間:自112年5月1日(星期一)起至5月12日(星期五)止

     二、申請資格:

           (一)碩/博士生須修業滿一學期以上。

           (二)學業總平均成績70分以上。

           (三)符合各研究所自訂之轉所申請條件。

     三、申請簽核流程

          (一)填妥「研究生轉所申請表」(併附歷年成績單及備審資料)→原就讀系所(指導教授/系所主管/院長)簽章同意後→送教務處註冊組彙                    辦。

          (二)由各系所依自訂之轉所標準及申請審查規定辦理。審查結果經轉入學系(所)主管及院長簽核後,送交教務長核定後公告通過名單。

    四、注意事項:

         (一) 申請轉所以一次為限;凡經核准通過者,不得再行請求更改申請或轉回原所。

         (二) 學生休學期間不得提出申請。

         (三) 入學管道屬考試或甄試入學者與碩士在職專班學生,不得申請互轉。

         (四) 同研究所內申請轉組(學籍分組)者,比照轉所之各項規定。

         (五) 修讀碩/博士學位轉系(所、學位學程)者,其在兩系(所、學位學   程)之修業年限須合併計算。

         (六) 陸生轉系(所)應在當學年度部定招收陸生總名額及系所範圍內辦理。

Notice: Procedures for graduate students applying for Change of Major of the 2nd Semester of 111 School Year 

 Date: April 27th, 2023

 

Specifications:

     I. Application period: Form Monday, May 1st to Friday, May 12th, 2023

     II. Applicable objects:

         1. Students who have completed one semester of study;

         2. Students with a Grade Point Average of over seventy;

         3. Students who meet the requirements set forth by the accepting departments.

    III. Application procedures:

         1. Complete the application form (submit along with their transcripts of the previous semesters and relevant documents) →       

             approved by the current department (the advising professor, department chair and college dean) →

             submit to Registration Division of Office of Academic Affairs for preliminary examination.

         2. Each department may establish its own criteria for reviewing applications for a change of major. The request shall be discussed

             and reviewed by the accepting departments. The review results shall be approved by the accepting department chair and   

             college dean, then a list of accepted applicants will be published upon approval of the Provost.

    IV. Notifications:

          1.Each student can only apply one time and transfer to one department. Students granted approval to change their majors

           shall not file for a change in or withdrawal of their application.

        2.Students who are still on their leave period shall not file an application.

        3.Those students, who have been admitted by means of entrance exam or screening selection, or who are On-job Students of 

           Master Program, shall not apply for a change of major between these programs.

       4.Graduate students applying to change a major within the division of the same department shall process the application in

          accordance with “Yuan Ze University Regulations for Change of Major for Graduate Students of Master/Doctoral Programs”.

       5.Masters’ or doctoral students changing a major (graduate institute, degree program), the time period for study in both

          departments (graduate institute, degree program) shall be counted.

       6.Applications from the Mainland China Student are limited to the Mainland Chinese student enrollment quota of the accepting

         department (graduate institute) of the current academic year.
