Description:

  1. 受理對象:103學年度起到職之講師、助理教授及副教授到任六年內未通過升等者;到任六年因重大疾病留職停薪、本人或配偶生產申請檢核展延申請通過者。

    Eligibility: Faculty members (Lecturers, Assistant Professors, and Associate Professors) who were appointed in or after the 2014 academic year and have not been promoted within six years of service; or those who, within the six-year period, were approved for postponement of the review due to serious illness or childbirth (self or spouse).

  2. 展延申請程序:每學年度3/1及9/1公告受理檢核展延申請,新進教師任職期間如有重大疾病、本人或配偶生產者,得於每學年3/31及9/30前,檢附「新進教師到任六年升等檢核展延申請表」及相關證明文件,提出展延檢核申請,經核准者始得展延檢核。逾時未提出申請者,視同不申請檢核展延。(註:相關申請表單請點選連結或可至人事室網頁下載,申請文件僅供會議審查之用。)

    Postponement Application Procedure: Applications for review postponement are accepted on March 1 and September 1 of each academic year. Faculty members may apply for postponement if, during their appointment, they experienced serious illness or childbirth (self or spouse). Applications must be submitted by March 31 or September 30 each academic year, along with the Application Form for Postponement of Promotion Review for Newly Appointed Faculty Reaching Six Years of Service and relevant supporting documents. Only upon approval may the review be postponed. Applications submitted after the deadline will be deemed as not requesting postponement. (Note: Application forms can be accessed via the provided link or downloaded from the Personnel Office website. All documents are for review purposes only.)

  3. 受檢核教師名單:每學年3/31及9/30前由人事室提供新進教師到任年資滿6年未通過升等之歷年教師名單予各學系(或同級)確認,並副知教務處,以利各級教評會審議(核備)。

    List of Faculty Under Review: By March 31 and September 30 of each academic year, the Personnel Office shall provide each department (or equivalent unit) with the list of faculty members who have reached six years of service without promotion. A copy will also be sent to the Office of Academic Affairs for subsequent review by the relevant Faculty Evaluation Committees at each level.

  4. 檢核程序:新進教師到任年資滿6年未通過升等且不符合初次申請展延者,經各學系(或同級)審議及學院(部)教評會核備通過後,提送每學年5月及11月校教評會核備。

    Review Procedure: Faculty members who have reached six years of service without promotion and who are not eligible for initial postponement shall undergo review by the department (or equivalent unit) and be approved by the Faculty Evaluation Committee of college (or equivalent unit). The case shall then be submitted to the Faculty Evaluation Committee of School in May and November each academic year for final approval.

  5. 檢核後配合事項:經每學年5月及11月校教評會核備通過,由各學系(或同級)通知教師相關權益,依其相關規定辦理(第七年起不得在校外兼課或兼職,且不得超支鐘點費 或擔任各級教師評審委員會委員。但支援開設本校教師授課時數及抵免辦 法第十四條規定之課程者,仍得依其規定支領超支鐘點費。),並對教師進行升等相關事宜之輔導。

    Post-Review Measures: Once approved by the Faculty Evaluation Committee of School in May or November, the respective department (or equivalent unit) shall notify the faculty of relevant rights and follow appropriate regulations. From the seventh year onward, faculty may not teach or hold part-time positions outside the university, exceed the hourly pay limit, or serve on any Faculty Evaluation Committees. However, faculty who support the offering of courses that qualify under Article 14 of the Teaching Hours and Credit Recognition Regulations may still receive extra pay for excess teaching hours according to the stipulated guidelines. Departments shall also provide guidance to assist the faculty member in the promotion process.

  6. 校級輔導及追蹤:通知新進教師到任六年升等檢核未通過者,參與由人事室舉辦之教師升等說明座談會或多元升等經驗分享會。 

    University-Level Guidance and Follow-Up: Faculties who fail to pass the six-year promotion review shall be required to attend a promotion orientation session or multi-track promotion experience-sharing forum organized by the Personnel Office.
