2025-2026 YZU Academic Calendar has been amended and approved by the 18th Executive Council Meeting of the 2024 Academic Year on June 11, 2025.
Highlights of the 2025-2026 YZU Academic Calendar Revision:
- According to the "Implementation Regulations on Memorial Days and Holidays", five new holidays have been added, the names of certain commemorative and traditional festivals have been revised, and adjustments have been made to the scheduling of Parent Visit Day and the YZU Open Day activities. The newly added holidays are as follows:
(1) September 28, 2025 – Commemoration of the birth of Confucius and Teacher's Day
(2) October 25, 2025 – Taiwan Retrocession and Battle of Guningtou Victory Memorial Day
(3) December 25, 2025 – Constitution Day
(4) February 15, 2026 – The night before New Year's Eve
(5) May 1, 2026 – Labor Day
- Final Examinations are scheduled between December 22 and 27, 2025. As December 25 is the Constitution Day, final exams originally scheduled on that day may be rescheduled at the discretion of the instructor.
- Revisions to the schedule or notes, include: Application for recognition of master/doctor program credits for undergraduate/master students, Application for minor & double majors, Application for department transfer for graduate students, Application for department transfer, Application deadline for Direct Admission to Doctoral Program, Application for International Program department transfer (Excluding EBBA Program), Term 1: Summer semester course selection and payment of tuition fee, Teaching Seminar at noon.
