114 Academic Year, Second Semester Grade Submission Deadline

Description:

  1. Graduating Class (including senior undergraduates and second-year graduate students) semester grades for courses offered must be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office via computer within one week (by June 30) after the graduating class semester exams. (The grade submission system will be open starting June 8) .
  2. The semester grades for the remaining students (regardless of graduates or non-graduates) should be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office via computer within one week (by July 5) after the final exams (to avoid issues affecting students' graduation, employment, or military service, please cooperate accordingly).

  3. In accordance with academic regulations: "Once a student's grades have been submitted to the Registration Office by the course instructor, they cannot be altered. If a student has doubts about their grades, they must submit a written inquiry to the Registration Office within one semester of receiving the grade report. For grade corrections, the course instructor must complete the Grade Correction Application Form and attach relevant documentation. The application must be approved by the department chair of the student's major, the department chair of the course, and the dean of the college offering the course (for general education courses, approval is required from the Director of the General Education Center). It will then be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs for review and will take effect upon approval by the Dean of Academic Affairs. However, if the reason for the grade modification is unclear, disputed, or if the grade change could affect the student's eligibility for dismissal, the matter will be decided by the Academic Affairs Committee." Instructors are requested to retain all relevant materials related to students' semester grades for at least one semester for reference.
  4. Please complete the grade submission process through the personal Portal system. To avoid errors in grade data that may affect students' rights, instructors are requested to double-check the grade details before submission. During the grade temporary storage period, students can view their grades in the Portal system. If there are any input errors, instructors can make corrections themselves before the grade submission deadline.
  5. Unless a student is excused from the final exam due to a major incident and the leave is approved by the Dean of Academic Affairs through a signed request, the 999 grade cannot be deferred.
  6. Regarding the issues caused by teachers' delays in submitting grades, a brief summary is provided below for your reference:

✽ Scholarship application.

✽Unable to rank due to incomplete results.

✽Unable to apply to foreign universities due to incomplete grades.

✽Participated in transfer exams and external exams without a complete transcript.

✽ Students have been applying for transcripts more frequently due to incomplete grade records.

7. To avoid delays in grade submission affecting students' rights, a reminder notice will be sent to the entire school after the grade submission deadline, and a follow-up mechanism will be established:    ✽ For delays exceeding 1 day, the list will be sent to the department chair for handling on the afternoon following the deadline.

✽ For those exceeding 2 days, the list will be sent to the dean for processing on the afternoon of the second day after the deadline.

✽ For those exceeding 3 days, the list will be sent to the Dean's Office for processing on the afternoon of the third day after the deadline.
